I invite you to join me in a place where nature's abundance is all around: the verdant mountains of Costa Rica. During the heart of the Midwestern winter, we'll be enjoying the sights and sounds of a tropical rainforest for a week of yoga, healthful food, and great company.
Our home base is Amatierra, an eco-resort committed to conservation and sustainable agriculture. Home to toucans, hundreds of other varieties of birds and butterflies, this mountain retreat offers amazing bird watching, hiking trails, and stunning views. And you will have to go no further than the the open air yoga studio to realize this!
The week will include morning and afternoon yoga classes, as well as two tours: Turubari Park and Esterillos Oeste, one of Costa Rica's most beautiful beaches. Additional beach days and activities can be arranged with the center's staff, with a minimum number of participants. Our yoga schedule will be flexible to accommodate your exploration of this wondrous region. The specific theme of our week-long immersion will be announced soon.
Prior to the morning class, fruit, coffee and tea will be available; after class, you will be treated to a substantial breakfast on the outdoor terrace. Lunches and dinners are also included in your retreat cost, with the exception of lunches on excursion days.
Dates: January 29 - February 5, 2011 Participants may arrive a day early or extend their stay. The cost of the additional overnights is $165. 69/night for a single, $212.74/night for a double room, which includes meals.

* 2 airport transfers for both the arrival day and departure day. If arriving or departing well outside of the scheduled times, you will be responsible for the transfer. Amatierra can arrange transportation for $70/transfer for up to 2 people.

Travel Information
Book your airline travel to San Jose, Costa Rica. The San Jose airport less than one hour from Amatierra. Transportation is provided to and from the airport at scheduled times. Amatierra staff will schedule your pick-up. Be certain to inform Silke of your airline/travel information.
Refund Policy • Deposit refundable prior to October 15. After October 15, there is a $50 cancellation fee.
• Cancellations within 30-60 days of retreat: 50% cancellation fee. • Cancellations under 30 days of retreat: non-refundable.
